Creative Destruction
Creative destruction is the process in which something new replaces something that existed before. For example, the iPhone replaced the rotary dial phone or the computer replaced the typewriter. In this station, students chose an item they wished to "creatively destruct." Once the item was deconstructed, they created something new from the parts. Will the students use all of the parts or just some of them? Will it be something similar to the item that was destroyed or something completely different? Take a look at the creativity the students displayed from their destruction.
